Mr. Pickett and Mr. Brown have been working diligently to spread the word about the National Kidney Registry and obtaining contributions to benefit the nonprofit organization. They will be honored at a gala sponsored by Atlantic Automotive Group, a John Staluppi dealer group.
“When we held our inaugural Long Island Friends of the National Kidney Registry fundraising gala last year, we had no idea of the heights it would hit, both in terms of human emotion and overall donations,” said Jacquelyn Maher-Brucia, who is coordinating the fundraising efforts of Atlantic Automotive Group.”The generosity and support of those who attended was both humbling and exhilarating at the same time.”
